Today is National Pots de Creme Day. These decadent desserts are translated from the French meaning pots of cream. They are usually baked in small ceramic dishes. The ingredients are eggs, cream, milk and vanilla. They are often made as other flavors such as chocolate. On a Bowl Of Mush I found a recipe for Creme au Caramel, a salted caramel custard pot, mmmmmm looks delish. Closet Cooking went a different direction using Maple as his flavor in Maple Pots de Creme.
