Are your Kids Getting enough Fiber? Pedia-Lax Giveaway
Tuesday, February 23, 2010 Posted by One 2 Try
In 2009 the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) significantly increased the recommended daily fiber intake standards, far above the previous "age plus five" rule. In fact, today's updated guidelines recommend 25 grams of fiber per day for four-year-old children. But how do we meet these requirements and get our children to eat high in fiber foods?
Now there's a delicious daily fiber supplement to help kids ages 2-11 maintain better digestive health and stay regular.* The penguin-shaped, great tasting Pedia-Lax Fiber Gummies are sugar-free, calorie-free, gluten-free and made with natural fruit flavors. With a recommended serving of three gummies every day, (equal to ½ cup of broccoli!), Fiber Gummies are a great way to supplement the fiber found in fruits, vegetables and other fiber-rich foods in your child’s daily diet. It’s a great solution to help bridge the gap between the American Academy of Pediatrics recommended amount of fiber and the fiber that kids actually consume in their daily diet. Don’t forget to tell your readers that Fiber Gummies are dentist approved!
* This statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Each cute little penguin shaped gummy provides 2 grams of fiber. Chewing one gummy three times daily is the recommended dosage for added fiber. The taste is pretty fruity. Yes I tasted one. Not bad at all. The kids will think they are just candy. Make sure to keep the jar in a safe place! They are sugar free too! Look for Pedia-Lax Fiber Gummies in your local drugstores.
Here is a fiber comparison chart which is pretty eye opening. Which one would your picky eater prefer to eat?
Here is your chance to win! One lucky reader will win a jar of Pedia-Lax Fiber Gummies.

My son does not seem to digest properly. So I have to add extra fiber into his meals daily. Our doctor referred him to be on benefiber in his drinks or mix in with each food so he is getting a little extra with the food he is not able to digest carrying the fiber.
This always leaves him is a major state of constipation. Feel so bad for him, But the more I can do to help him get the fiber he needs and a little extra, the better it is for him and the happier he and I will be. ;)
Already follow you friend. Have a wonderful day!

I never gave them the option. They have always had wheat bread and carrots and a fibre rich diet. I dread when they go to school and learn about little debbie.

I am laughing so hard...my son is obsessed with fiber (after a Dr. visit awhile back). He sounds like an old man..."Can I have my fiber now?"
We eat tons of broccoli, apples, complex carbs and he drinks Benefiber every day!
