, author Rosanna Bowles brings us a compilation of recipes, tips, and experiences to bring traditions into our daily lives.My first impression of Coming Home - it is a beautiful book. The brilliant color photos throughout this delightful book are amazing to look at. Each photo is very inviting. I adore the format of Coming Home. The book is presented in sections by seasons. Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Spring features the newness of regrowth with flowers and greenery. Decorating for Spring after spring cleaning of course, in gorgeous pastels. The recipes for spring include fresh vegetables, pork dishes and a scrumptious looking Coconut Cream Pie.
Focusing on Summer means simplicity and taking time out to travel. Enjoy where ever your day takes you. Recipes here include salad recipes, light pastas and incredible drinks. Fall is my favorite tradition time of year. I look forward to the fall holidays of Halloween, then transitioning into Thanksgiving. The colors of fall allow an abundance of decorating ideas. Rosanna includes many of her favorite recipes for Thanksgiving. She even shares her Mother's Apple Dumplings recipe and it looks very tasty. Winter is filled with family recipes from cookies to rich family dinners. In browsing the pages of Coming Home, I felt like I was part of the family! I enjoyed this book cover to cover and plan on making quite a few recipes.

Love cookbooks and would love to have this one! One of our favorite family traditions takes place during my favorite season, summer. We love roasting marshmallows and squishing them between two fudge stripe cookies!

Fall is most definitely my favorite time of the year. I live in Florida and the weather in the fall is my favorite time here. Not to mention all the Thanksgiving goodies.

At our house the Holidays lately have lost their charm due to financial anguish...It would be great to come up with traditions that help us celebrate in the times of need and times of plenty. Easter is a big celebration at our house nonetheless.
