I have found an answer that just might do the trick. Supermarket Smarty! This ingenious shopping tool known as Supermarket Smarty. It is so handy and easy to fill out. The Supermarket Smarty is a fold up list that you write on with a dry erase marker and wipe off. Each food category is defined with healthy choices listed. All you have to do is mark off what you need. Simple!
The features do not end there. In each section you will find graphic symbols to help you make the best food choices. Listed you will see superfoods, good source of fiber, organic, healthy fat, whole grain and more nutritious information designated next to the corresponding food. With the information right at your fingertips, better choices are clear to make. Also included in the Supermarket Smarty is a meal planner, a notes section, a coupon pocket and a useful Label Lens to magnify nutrition labels for easy reading. All this incredible info in a fold up, convenient and reusable dry erase grocery list. They thought of everything!
I am so happy to have been sent a Supermarket Smarty to try. I keep it attached to the fridge with the also supplied magnet clip. The clip holds the marker too. I like having everything within reach. All I do is put a check mark or a quantity next to the item I need. When it is time to go shopping, I take the Supermarket Smarty with me. It folds into a nice purse size for easy carrying. I have my list already prepared. The categories are just what I use on a regular basis. Fruits & Veggies, dairy, whole grains, protiens and groceries plus more. There is also space to add your "don't forget" items. I really like this handy shopping tool.
