Today is National Black Cow Day!

Thursday, June 10, 2010 Posted by Rita A

June 10th is National Black Cow Day. The Black Cow is an older term used for what is commonly known as an ice cream float.

Here is a Black Cow Recipe to enjoy:

10 oz Coke
2 Scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream
1 Tablespoon Chocolate Syrup
Whipped Cream
Maraschino Cherry

Place the scoops of ice cream in a large glass, cover with chocolate syrup. Pour the coke over the ice cream and syrup. Garnish with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry. Serve with a spoon and a straw for getting every last drop.

You can also make Brown Cows by using Root Beer instead of Coke.

Yum!
Enjoy your day!
