FoldTuk Roaster - Giveaway (ends 7/24)

Monday, July 12, 2010 Posted by Rita A

Have you had the opportunity to try any of the kitchenware from FoldTuk? I have two of the incredible products of theirs. FoldTuk Kitchenware is a lovely addition to my cooking.

Introducing the FoldTuk 3 in 1 Collapsible Roaster! The Roaster makes it easy to Cook-Serve-Store all in one! The size is generous enough to fit a 18lb turkey or a 20lb roast. The silicone will withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees. Perfect for use in any conventional household oven. The cover completely surrounds the meats for an evenly roasted, moist meal. The Roaster is stabilized with by a stainless steel bottom and a stunning high polished stainless steel top rim flange. The Roaster utilizes the fold-tuk storage system that collapses in size. The size shrinks to a mere 3 inches for storage. Handy for saving cupboard space. After cooking you can leave the meats in the roaster for easy placing leftovers in the refrigerator. Clean up is a breeze too. The silicone is naturally non stick, plus it is diswasher safe! The FoldTuk Roaster is very functional!

I received a FoldTuk Roaster to try this ingenious design. Mine came in the red color. They do have two other colors available. Luckily we have had a cool snap of summer weather here in Southern California. I was able to cook a 16lb turkey the other morning in my FoldTuk Roaster. The turkey fit perfectly. The lid covered nicely for even heating. I was very pleasently surprised with the stability of the roaster. Lifting a 16lb turkey was no trouble at all. The bottom stainless steel adds the support for the weight of the bird and the rim makes it easy to carry in and out of the oven. I love the way the entire roaster fit in my oven. The lid kept my turkey nice and moist. I really liked the tasty results of the meal from the FoldTuk Roaster. Delicious.

FoldTuk Kitchenware also offers Bakeware, see my review of Bakeware here. FoldTuk can be purchased directly online. Your FoldTuk will become your favorite kitchenware.

I learned that it took almost two years of R&D and numerous samplings and testings to develop the FoldTuk Bakeware product line. I think this is a neat concept, especially the space savings for something as large as a roaster.

I learned that FoldTuk Bakeware can go into a microwave oven or any kind of baking oven as long as the temperature does not exceed 500°F / 260°C.

I learned the storage lid can be used in the microwave oven providing the lid is never “snapped” sealed tight onto the container. Use caution to never snap- seal the lid. Doing so may create steam/pressure that can build up and potentially cause burning when the hot steam is released. Always place the lid askew so the steam pressure can escape.
