Smartshield Serious Sun Protection - Giveaway (ends 7/15)

Tuesday, July 06, 2010 Posted by One 2 Try

Summertime and the living is easy! We all could not wait for summer with all the cold weather we had all winter. It is time to bring our pale indoor skin out in to the sunshine. Make sure to use sunscreen with each exposure! For serious sun protection - use SmartShield.

SmartShield is smart sun protection. It is oil-free, and eco-friendly. SmartShield can be worn all day. Their special sunscreen formula absorbs quickly into the skin without clogging pores, or stinging eyes. Your clothes are safe from stains too. All of the SmartShield products are hypoallergenic, PABA Free, and DEET Free. They are safe for all skin types and are dermatologist-recommended. Smartshield sunscreen is Aloe based with vitamins A, C and E.

When I go in the sun, I limit my exposure and always make sure to have the proper protection on my skin. For the sunscreen: I had the the pleasure of sampling SmartShield Sunscreen Lotion in SPF30. It is light on the skin. Being oil free, it absorbed very quickly and did not leave my skin feeling greasy. That is a big plus for wanting to use any lotion for me. The scent is very pleasing. It has a freshness to the aroma and is not overly perfumed. I could not believe how fast it soaks in the skin. It left my skin so soft too. It does not feel like I am covered in lotion. Even with hours being in the sun, the sweat proof, waterproof sunscreen was still providing UVA and UVB protection. The aloe vera and the vitamins in the formula really left my skin moisturized too. I am thinking SmartShield lotion would be good to use year round. They do have two SPF Formulas, SPF30 and SPF15. I am especially prone to cold sores on my lips (did you know the sun makes them worse?) SmartShield offers a SPF30 lip balm. I will have to purchase a few tubes.

SmartShield carries a full line of skincare products for sun protection as well as after care. What I love about the Sunscreen Lotion is the sizes you can order. You can purchase everything from a 2 oz size all the way up to a Gallon pump of this fabulous Sunscreen formula. Make sure to order enough for the entire family. For the best protection for your family, consider SmartShield. You can also find SmartShield in specialty retail shops. Here is a special coupon code for my readers -  Sun2 can be used to get $2.00 off any online order placed at SmartShield. Take advantage of the savings!

Using sun protection will help prevent skin damage and reduce the risk of cancer. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends that you avoid deliberate sunbathing. Every second you're in the sun, you're being bombarded by UV rays that cause skin to brown, wrinkle, shrivel, turn leathery and malignant.
