Sushi Popper - Review

Monday, July 05, 2010 Posted by Rita A

It is not everyday that a very unique food product hits the market. I say unique accurately describes Sushi Popper! So you may be asking yourself, what is a Sushi Popper?

Sushi Popper is a new fun way to eat sushi. It is so exciting it has been seen on many shows including the Today Show, Food Network and Unwrapped. Sushi Popper comes as a portable tube with fresh pre-sliced sushi inside. To eat you simply push the sushi up from the bottom and eat at the top. The Sushi Popper currently comes in four exciting flavors. The ever popular California Roll, Chicken Teriyaki, Cucumber Roll, and Spicy Shrimp. The Sushi Popper is made fresh and delivered daily. Each tube includes the push up handle. When you place an order with Sushi Popper, they are packed fresh for your delivery. Each tube is individually wrapped to make it easy to defrost one tube at a time. My Sushi Popper came delivered in a sealed container of dry ice to keep the tubes frozen. When they arrive to your home, store them in the freezer right away. It is recommended to place deep in the freezer away from the door. When you are ready to eat a yummy Sushi Popper, just take a tube out to defrost at room temperature for 60 to 90 minutes before eating. It is ready to eat when the sides of the tube feel soft when squeezed. Use the push up handle and enjoy!

My family loves sushi. When I first heard about this new ingenious presentation of sushi, I knew it was One 2 Try! Courtesy of Sushi Popper, I was sent a sample pack of one tube of each flavor. Of course I went with my favorite flavor first - the California Roll. The Sushi Popper contains 7 pieces in each tube so there was plenty for us to share. The flavor was delicious. The seaweed wrap was delectable with the rice being tender to the bite. The avocado made the crab nice and creamy tasting. It was as if we were eating from a famous sushi house. The pieces are the perfect bite size. The packaging definitely added to the fun. My next favorite flavor of the Sushi Popper is the Cucumber Roll. These were incredibly tasty. The flavor was bold but light. We could have eaten at least two of the Cucumber Rolls. I enjoyed the Chicken Teriyaki with its sweet sauce taste. The Spicy Shrimp did have a little kick to it, just enough to tease the taste buds. Sushi Popper got rave reviews from my hubby and his dad! Thumbs up all around with requests to place an order for more! We devoured all the flavors of Sushi Popper!

You can purchase Sushi Popper directly online in packs of 6. They have a variety pack available to get a sampling of the flavors. If you prefer one flavor, they do come in a 6 pack. The price of each 6 pack is $29.95 which equals about $4.99 per roll. That is a great price for sushi and so convenient! You can eat your Sushi Popper anywhere! Order with confidence - Sushi Popper uses the highest quality ingredients combined with specialized freezing techniques to bring your order to your door!
