Bake for the Cure - One-Dish Raspberry Cheesecake Recipe YUM!

Tuesday, October 19, 2010 Posted by Rita A

I was a baking fool this weekend! As part of Bake for the Cure, I have more recipes to post. I thought I had until the end of October but it turns out, I only have this last week to get all my scrumptious recipes posted for you!

Be sure to enter my Bake for the Cure - Pink Baking Kit Giveaway!

I was baking so much - 5 recipes to be exact, 4 for Bake for the Cure and one more for something special coming up soon. I was busier than those cookie elves!

Baking has a way of making loved ones feel special. The idea of sharing something delicious has sparked ACH Foods to support Susan G. Komen with Bake for the Cure.

Over $1 million has been donated by ACH Brands such as Karo, Argo, Durkee, Kingsford, Spice Islands and Fleischmann's Yeast. The FREE Bake for the Cure Community features recipes, awareness and support, while making good things to warm the heart.

I am part of Bake for the Cure because I love to bake. At Bake for the Cure, you can submit and share recipes among other cooks and supporters. The recipes are inspiring and delicious. Check out the recipe exchange at Bake For the Cure. Lots of goodies to make.

This recipe, came from the Bake for the Cure: A Celebration of Love & Hope Cookbook. You can order one for yourself for just a mere $2.00. It has delectable recipes featuring the wonderful ingredients from ACH Foods.

One-Dish Raspberry Cheesecake

What I liked about this recipe, The batter makes a cake like crust under the cheesecake filling. It is not your typical cheesecake recipe. It is more like a cake with cream cheese topping! So good! My variation of the recipe - I used strawberries in place of the raspberries. It came out very tasty indeed. The cake (crust) is moist with a layer of rich cheesecake. Topped with my strawberry sauce, it was Heaven in a slice.

The recipe is too long to post here, but I do have it typed and ready to email to you upon request. Just leave me a comment on this post (with your email of course) and I will get the recipe right to you. Or you could purchase the Bake for the Cure Cookbook for $2.00 and have all the 48 recipes.

You will want this recipe. It is decadent, sure to please both cake lovers and cheesecake lovers alike! Leave a comment, I will get the recipe to you.

i looove cake, love cheesecake, and love raspberry anything, so i'd adore this recipe--email in profile, please send it to me!

i'm not too good at making crusts but prefer the taste of homemade (my sister has a killer apple pie one but it's pretty involved latticework) so i like the whole batter-into-crust thing, seems interesting
